"Support the Sport"

The Southern California Volleyball Association (SCVA) is proud to announce a partnership with KC Sports Housing. In order to better serve our volleyball community during tournaments, a “Support the Sport” format will be implemented. This is similar to a Play-and-Stay, but we have a higher emphasize on giving back to the SCVA community. With competitive rates and customer service representatives just a phone call away (1-800-775-7244), KC Sports Housing makes booking your tournament stay simple.

“Support the Sport” establishes a tight partnership between the SCVA tournaments, hotels, coaches, teams, and parents. Our primary mission for the “Support the Sport” tournaments is to provide greater support to the local SCVA community and ensure priority bookings at convention centers for future tournaments.

***It is required that ALL team participants book their housing accommodations through KC Sports Housing in order to be able to play in the SCVA Tournaments.  This includes everyone in your travel party: players, family members, friends, etc. Team cooperation is essential to ensure placement in SCVA tournaments.

Benefits of “Support the Sport” format

The benefits of implementing this format will be felt across all parties. Utilizing “Support the Sport” guarantees competitive hotel rates with different price points for all participants and ensures that teams will be in adjacent rooms. This format provides greater customer support with a full-service call center to handle all your booking needs.

When using Convention Center venues and other such venues, we are required to prove the hotel nights used by attendees of these events in each of the cities. The more room nights we can prove, the higher rank we are in reserving the facility. If we are unable to provide a certain number of room nights, some highly sought after weekends will be unavailable to SCVA tournaments. By increasing the number of room nights actually used for our events, SCVA and KC Sports Housing are able to prove to the host cities that our event has an extremely positive impact on their local economy. 

Special Exemptions:

Teams living within 50 miles from tournament location may apply for a special exemption by submitting a housing exemption form.
